The first thing I'd say is that if you're a first year/fresher, do NOT choose this accommodation. I am heartbroken that my freshers week was so dull since my current peers attended events hosted by halls. I really feel like I missed out, so do not make the same mistake as I did. Unless you latch on to someone next door at St. Peter's Court (if you're attending University of Nottingham) you're not going to have much fun in your first week. I find that the layout of the flats make it incredibly difficult to actually talk to/meet people, and the atmosphere feels very cold here. If you care about atmosphere and sociability, I would definitely avoid this accommodation.

The rooms are very spacious, however it is evident that it is very cheap. The fronts of my draws constantly come off when I pull the handle and the walls are extremely thin (I can often hear my flatmate's alarm in the morning and sometimes I can even hear them snore...)

The location is okay. It states that it is a 5 minute walk from Jubilee Campus but I would say it's more 10 minutes. The hopper bus is always full so if you're at University Park Campus and you're walking, you'll need to set off at least 40 minutes before your lecture starts. It's about a 25 minute walk to city centre which is handy, especially for cheap nights out because you can always walk there and back. Some of the accommodation here is actually directly above Lidl which is great, and Aldi, Poundland and B&M are just a 10 minute walk down the road. Asda is 1.2 miles away so that's also a positive.

The management are always very helpful, however they are way too understaffed for the amount of students they cater for. Queues for post collection are ridiculous and they clearly do not have enough room for the packages or staff to handle with the volume of post they receive. Security are always very helpful, though - I cannot fault the efficiency and care I have received.

I rated 7*s for safety because I do overall feel secure here and have not experienced any security threats, however a lot of people loiter around the accommodation smoking and I am often awoken by people shouting outside my window at night which can be a little threatening. Towards the beginning of my stay here, there was a HORRENDOUS problem with litter! It was just everywhere, the bins were full to the brim and people would chuck rubbish down the stairs. This problem slowly resolved although it is still isn't the cleanest...

As for value, it's just average. The on-site gym is a bonus although it is very small and equipment is often out of order and no one seems to know how to put the dumbbells away correctly. There are definitely alternatives which are cheaper and better quality, but it's definitely not overpriced.

Overall, I would not recommend this accommodation. It feels lonely and dull, it's a bit dirty and there are just overall better options. Please, if you are a fresher, stay in halls!

Not really the best choice but it acceptable.

I feel its quite far from from Uni Park specially if you have a 9 AM class and the Jubilee Hopper is always full so you gotta leave sooo early to catch the bus.

I live in a studio plus and the quality of the room isn't good for the £705 I pay monthly tbh.

Unfortunately moving in here was very last minute so I am planning to move out next year. Found other better student accommodations and even apartments that are less expensive and higher in quality.

The rooms looked better and BIGGER in pictures.

The kitchen appliances were really rusty when I first arrived but I reported the problem and it was changed.

The worst things are the small fridge and kitchen area, everything is just too small! Even though I have a studio plus. Not to mention the fact that the laundry in Block D is so far.

I suggest that every block should have a laundry room.

Other than that, the staff, management and security is really good.

The area in general is not too busy but not too quite as well which is a plus, and there are a plenty of restaurants around.

However, when it comes to grocery shopping I don't seem to find everything I need in Lidl maybe because its small? So I tend to walk to tesco down the road just a bit after the bus stop taking you to the city.

Kinda the worse experience really, definitely not worth the money I pay.

This accommodation was in a good location as it was not far from University Park and right next to Jubilee Campus, perfect for those studying at Nottingham Uni.

The rooms were of really high quality, as was the communal living area.

Insurance, bills and wifi are all included which makes life a lot easier.
