Not what I expected at all. For what we pay it is not up to scratch. There is no common room for students so lacks a student community. It doesn’t look like it does in the pictures. It was advertised that there would be a cleaner, a gym and 24/7 security on site and this is not true. Reception organisation is poor. For the amount of money it is it’s overpriced and not worth it. The paint jobs in all the rooms are awful, the appliances frequently break and accommodation that is much cheaper is much better. Don’t go here if you want a social life and to feel like a student.

Stayed here for my first year, coming to the end of my contract. I wouldn't recommend these halls to anyone. There's no student atmosphere, no fun, everyone is very hostile and there is no common area where everyone can meet. Nordli jut down the road was where we ended up spending all our time. The rooms were okay, bathrooms were the worst I've seen as far as accommodations go. There were always problems with the kitchens, the main one being the water coming out the tap always being yellow. The reception staff were NEVER there. They're meant to be open 9-5, but you're lucky to catch hem as they always take unannounced breaks or decide to close for the whole week, so don't order any parcels to your accom as you'll rarely be able to receive them. I rang the head of Unite and he said that it was appalling how often they were taking breaks, but nothing was ever done about it. Oh and last but not least there is the unannounced men barging into your room without warning every other day to 'fix something', although almost every time the thing they're supposedly 'fixing' is still broken after they leave. They are able to unlock your doors and walk in whenever they want, they once barged in while I was taking a shower. I was furious. So all in all I would not reccomend these halls to ANYONE. Not just myself, but all of the people I've been living with agree that it has been a nightmare.
