Located on St James Boulevard, students at Burgess House have the city centre on their door-step. Both Northumbria University and Newcastle University are just a 20 minute walk through the city centre, and with Newcastle Central Station just around the corner, students can travel to Sunderland in under 30 minutes.
Burgess House is home to 110 students each year, offering a range of residencies, including our budget-friendly premium studios, to our spacious deluxe apartments.

Rooms vary in size and layout, however all include a modern kitchen, ensuite bathroom, study area, and smart TV.
Our rooms at Burgess House also have triple glazed windows which provides a quiet place for you to study, whilst also being in the heart of the city centre.
All rooms at Burgess House are available for dual occupancy – for no additional cost!
Students have their own personal space to live in, whilst also having access to some great social areas in the building.
Students will have access to the building’s cinema room, gym and common room.
The building also has a monthly social budget – so students can enjoy free pizza, films and games evenings all in the comfort of their own home!
