Common questions
Will my name be published?
Only if you choose to. The name field is optional. If you fill it in, it appears alongside your review; if you leave it blank, your review is published anonymously. We recommend adding your name, as reviews with a name tend to carry more weight with other students. Your email is required so we can verify the review, but it is never published.
Can the property remove my review?
No. Properties cannot remove or edit reviews. We only take a review down if it breaks our review guidelines — for example, if it names individuals or looks promotional. Moderation is handled by Hallbookers, not by the accommodation.
How long does verification take?
Once you confirm your email address, our team checks each review before it goes live. Most are published within one to two working days.
Can I edit my review after submitting?
Reviews can’t be edited once submitted. If you need to correct or remove something, contact us and we’ll help.

“It’s nice to live at Scape. Very modern building with nice facilities. Did not like that the shared kitchen was only cleaned every 2 weeks. And sometimes the reception and night porters can be rude when you have company over.”

“For the overall price of scape I was expecting better quality. The room itself is okay the bed size is good and the size of the desk is good but the level of storage is not very good. I struggled to find room to place my text books and notebooks and the closet to store my clothes is very slim you have basically squish your clothes for it to fit. The main disappointment is the toilet the storage there is very small and it grows mold very quickly. The maintenance have also been very poor at attempting to fix the shower leak. Nevertheless, the reason I have given this not less than 3 is mainly because of open communal spaces. They are very good and socially scape had a nice community and is a great opportunity as a student to make new friends. I will say as well the location is very good as it is very close to the university campus and town. It is also a minute walk away from Lidl and a the Gym Group. Overall, the price you pay for scape I would certainly expect better quality rooms but the location and communal spaces is what has saved them from this review being overly negative.”
