Very safe with 24 hour security. Environment always kept clean and well maintained. Good colours - use of white and bright purple and green lifts the mood. Lots of storage space in rooms - large fridges. If anything is broken, it is very quickly fixed. Spacious common room with pool table, football table and Sky TV, Staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful. The best student halls I have ever come across. Only criticisms; flats don't have hoovers - must borrow from reception, cannot open windows very much (for safety reasons) and kitchen sinks are deep but not wide - lots of splash back. Very happy living at the student castle, would not want to live anywhere else.
Living quality is the best compared to other halls in the area and well worth the price. Much safer than living in a house in Cardiff, always someone here in reception or security is needed at any time. Staff are really helpful and friendly also easy to talk to. Room quality you couldn't ask for much better, enough storage spaces. Also handy having 2 kitchen cupboards, one with a lock. Enough space to socialise in the kitchen with the sofa and TV.
Compared to other halls this place is so much better - value, safety, facilities, location - everything. The staff here are amazing, always someone here 24/7, someone is always on hand with any issues or to help if there's a problem. Plus they're always planning some sort of social event. I'll have been here for my 3 years of uni & it's the best place to live. I always feel safe here, compared to a house, if there's any issue with rent etc, it's easily sorted out plus not fussing over bills etc. is a weight off my mind. Best halls ever!
The "Student Castle" halls in Cardiff are amazing. The staff here are very friendly and the environment excellent. Every now & then we have parties or competitions in the common room and it's amazing. The rooms are great!! A lot of storage. Big shower & bathroom compared to other halls & double bed! If anything breaks the staff will come immediately & fix it! Our post will come to the halls, so it's not necessarily to go to the post office. Everything here is amazing. I will definitely recommend it to someone that wants to rent a room in private halls. It's worth the experience!
Student Castle is an excellent place to live. The quality, staff and security is brilliant with an ideal location to the city centre and nearby universities. I will have spent 3/5 years of my university degree and can honestly say its the number one choice for me.
Have been here for 2 years now, love the place and the atmosphere. The location is really good. And beautiful rooms and very comfortable.
Fabulous accommodation just a few minutes from the city centre. Staff are friendly and helpful, no matter what your problem may be they deal with it as quickly as possible maintenance problems sorted out swiftly and with a smile.

I only really have three comments about this place that I am not happy with 1) Shower water: very very greasy/oily 2) Prices to use washing machine and dryers: a bit high (especially when sometimes the dryers don't dry properly) 3) Noise: There tends to be a lot of student parties that can be unnecessarily loud at inappropriate times ( & rude to other students on campus)

Lovely place to live, rooms are modern and spacious with great showers. The kitchen is nice and modern, but it isn't big enough for 8 people, the TV is in an awkward place too so no one ever watches it. The common room is great, especially when the staff throw a party in there. The internet is amazing, it's faster than in my house. The laundry room isn't great, and does work out quite expensive. The fact that all our bills are included in the rent is great. Great staff team, when they want to be. The maintenance team, are great for responding to calls and fixing problems. There are a lot of security members on site who are there to help with issues in the night. Office staff are great with taking bookings, sorting out mail, and other requests too. The main thing that has let me down this year is the fact that the staff team have avoided an issue that I have basically because it could potentially involve the police. This situation has disrupted my living, and my working life, which I am very disappointed in the way that Student Castle have responded. Overall I am satisfied with living here and will be returning next year, but I think there needs to be a reassessment of how certain situations are handled.
this is by far the best halls of residence in Cardiff! The rooms are really nice, the bathrooms are seriously as nice as a 5* hotel! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpfull! I strongly recommend staying here! You won't regret it!
