So the rooms are great, staff are ready and all problems and maintenance is usually performed within 2 days or so, sometimes even within half an hour, however lots of stairs and in the location I'm in at the top of block 6A the internet is shockingly bad, slow speeds and frequent disconnects when the signal drifts.
I have a horrible experience stayed there. My room absolutely uncomfortable, I could not slept well. My Up stairs roommates have a sex everyday and made terrible annoying noise. I could not closed my bathroom door, flood and some cracked on the walls. My old bed have not been changed for more than a year.
I wanted to be in student accommodation again, for my Masters. I like Libertay AP especially for the friendly, supportive and extremely understanding staff. Students are also nice and pretty well-behaved in general. Noise after pre-drinks and outings were not as bad as I feared (kudos guys..) My only problem is to do with the 3-device internet access plan. I believe it should be increased to at least 4 in this age of smartphones and tablets.
Although this accommodation is on the expensive side, it makes up for it with good rooms, very friendly staff including the security, who are always up for a chat and happy to help with any problems. Any repairs you need done are dealt with very quickly. It is great to have a shop on the site, however, it could provide healthier food. Also, the location is great for students who have classes in Byrom Street and it is very close to the library, too.
