Code accommodation I do not reccommend anyone to go there as they are not considerate to students it's all about money and how much they can charge you especially when it comes to giving your full refund back they look to see how they an keep your money, they don't have proper maintenance people to do the work.
Would not recommend here. They really don't have the students interest, communication poor and maintenance of accommodation shocking.
Code are the worst to rent from. They will try and fleece you for your deposit at the time you leave. They will make up charges and extornionate fees. Be warned and avoid them.
Be very careful with Code. They fleece you for all your deposit when you leave. Very unreasonable. Hence would advise that you avoid them .
if you are students or parents who are choosing accommodation, please be careful! In the beginning you might feel like everything in CODE is fine, but actually there are many hidden fees. The most rediciculous one of course is when your are moving out the accommodation, never dream about to get the full amount of your deposit back! Like me, even provided the pictures showing that every inch of the room was just fine on the day I left, they still didnt give a s--t, and refuse to refund the whloe amount of deposit to me.
The accommodation itself is very good, the flats are spacious for one person with good facilities on site including the free gym, study rooms and cafe, etc. This however is all let down by the rude, patronising and unfriendly staff. I had quite a few issues over the course of the year (conveniently after I had rebooked with them for my post graduate study) including the lift breaking for 2+ months (not good when you live on the top floor), the water supply being shut off and washing machines swallowing my money or not working at all. Although the response from the office was quick, online it was more than friendly but if you go into the office to speak to someone directly, you are met with someone who cannot be bothered to look up from their computers screen, is rude, patronising and treats you like you are stupid. For the price I pay (around £6000 for the year) it is not much to ask to be treated with a little respect and feel like they value you as a customer and tenant. For me, this is what lets code down. Unfortunately I am too late to back out of my contract without having to find a new tenant to take over myself, but I wouldn't be able to find anyone because I simply wouldn't recommend code as a good place to live. I feel it is overpriced, a lot of hassle and I will be glad to move out this time next year.
Good choice of living. Not had problems. Kind staff. Good price for the free gym, cinema room and studying rooms along with the dance studio.
Loved living here, great place to live and study
I love living in Code! My studio room is a great size with a lovely kitchen and bathroom; I also have a relaxing view of the river. The accommodation has the best facilities from an on-site non-profit cafe, free gym and exercise classes, cinema room and games room which I frequently use with my friends. We love attending the weekly Friday Night socials in the Cafe and playing pool in the games room! Code has made it easy to concentrate on my degree but also make lots of friends in Leicester! I would recommend Code to any student and wish I could live here forever!
Code is fantastic private student accommodation, very clean and modern. Rooms are decently sized and the facilities are amazing! It's great for people who want the ability to choose if they want to socialise or sit in the privacy of their rooms as each room is equipped with a fab kitchen and en suite. Would definitely recommend.
A bit small for price, lots to do around, close to uni
