HamCam offers great value student accommodation in Birmingham, set within its own private, gated grounds surrounded by mature trees and greenery. This secure student village is home to over 500 full-time university students and provides a friendly, inclusive, and affordable community.
Rents are all-inclusive, covering utility bills, high-speed WiFi, and basic contents insurance. There are no fees or security deposits—just pay the rent. Bus passes* are also included for the academic year. Contracts begin in September, with early arrival options available for international students and those in studio flats.

HamCam offers a range of room options to meet different needs and preferences:
- Large studios – Self-contained units with a private kitchen and bathroom, ideal for solo living.
- 5 bed flats – Perfect for students who want a shared living experience with friends.
- 2 bed flats – A great option for two students sharing, offering comfort and convenience.
All rooms are furnished and include access to on-site facilities such as a laundrette, 24/7 security, and high-speed WiFi. Please note that flats are not en-suite.

The entire site is gated and monitored by on-site security 24/7, providing peace of mind for students and their families. HamCam only accepts full-time university students in Birmingham, and this policy is strictly applied.
Easy booking with no hidden fees
Booking a room at HamCam is simple. There are no application fees or deposits. Students only need to pay an initial rent amount, which forms part of the first term’s rent. All bookings are provisional and subject to acceptance under a written Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement.
