If I could I'd give ZERO stars for liberty! Robbery. I found my room SO dirty at my arrival and when COVID 'arrived' in Scotland the staff disappeared leaving students with no support nor control in the facility (ONLY student accommodation doing so in Glasgow). Reception closed and we could not send nor receive parcels and we found out with a note on the door. Unbelievable. Finally, to those who left they promised to refund the third term that we, as international students, were obliged to pay in advance, but after making us sign a form they sold to Unite Students which only refunded 20% of the contract. Less than half of what was due. Therefore they kept the money of those staying, of those leaving and they gained from selling out. NEVER seen a more shady and disgusting attitude. They even raised the prices for next year and they are just not worth it. All facility is dirty and old, washing machines are expensive and nasty (NO ONE EVER cleans them, I even found a used condom once), fire alarm goes off every week and randomly at night and early morning, there's no pottery for the kitchen and they simply never clean the surfaces or carpets. disgusting. All the other accommodations refunded students and supported them all throughout the crisis. SHAME. GO TO BUCHANAN VIEW just around the corner for a few more pounds. Better, bigger and cleaner rooms and staff is on another level.
