When the fire alarm goes off no-one from management comes to the building to turn the alarm off for a few hours which I find inconsiderate. I've also asked to have the extractor fan in the kitchen fixed repeatedly and they haven't done anything about it. Once the fob key didn't work which means I was left standing outside the building until it got fixed. So overall the management is very poor. On a better note the facilities are fairly good - the gym is good, the common room is pretty good and the rooms are nice with a good amount of storage, plus the kitchen is big. It does get very hot in the building so it can feel stuffy, you also don't get control of the kitchen temperature. The kitchen gets cleaned professionally once a year so the rest of the time it's up to you and your flat mates to keep it clean. There are only two laundry machines and two dryers for the whole building, which often means waiting for them to become free, unless you go at odd times, plus they are fairly overpriced. The laundry room is next to the BIN STORE, which gets very disguising and makes the corridors smell unpleasant. Having said that, it's nice to be 2 minutes away from my department and also really close to town.

Great rooms and ensure. Great location - near city centre, bars, transport, etc. Good facilities - gym.
