Fantastic team to work with to sort my accommodation, made it really easy and they're so friendly too.

My time staying at radford mill was mostly okay before they became fresh, since then itโs all gone down hill and pray to god u donโt ever need their intervention with literally ANYTHING! 2 years later and still donโt have my deposit back from them, numerous times you will hear what u want, that things are being sorted when in reality their either to lazy or to forgetful to sort anything out, couldnโt of done more on my end to push this situation through and still yet when all I could finally need from them after doing everything myself is to sign off something online (which told to me by others in fresh should take 5 seconds) still hasnโt happened almost 5 weeks later, seems like the general manager their Craig either gets paid to sleep on the job or just doesnโt know how to do it and u wonโt ever get to speak to them yourself cuz they donโt even pick up the phone or answer emails and if u go in person (like I had to, to get my situation moving) they send the poor person at reception to have to deal with their mistake!!
I am a student and choose Radford mill. I regret the decision not because it is a bad accommodation but the ethicality of running an accommodation is lacking. They do not give your deposit back, ask for proofs and try to forfeit your deposit money without any reasons under false claims. Once you have paid them deposit, you are stuck to get it back. It is over an year now that I havenโt received my deposit back and all they do is ask for proof that I paid. They never pay receipt for deposit but ask it in the end at the time of refunding the deposit. So if you still ( which you should not) choose this accommodation, take a receipt of deposit.
This place literally only cares about money. They state that there are plenty of facilities provided to increase the rent prices however, do not provide half of the things stated. The security staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. Get your moneys worth somewhere else, because Radford Mill will not allow you to do that.
Honestly save your money and the headache and book somewhere else. Cheaply built, our 6-month old house is falling apart before we even moved in. The only good thing is the security (big up tony and Leoni). I'd rather live on the street than in Radford Mill.
Aweful in every aspect
There where a few issues when i first moved in, but the management did all they could to make my stay comfortable. the rooms are reasonably priced when compared to others in the city, especially when you see the size of the rooms! the place is massive! it was my first year and have rebooked for next year, COVID has effected everyone and was not happy having to pay my rent when i went home but totally understand it, i could have stayed if id wanted to. Thank you Radford Mill.

4 weeks into moving into a townhouse in radford mill, I still have no wardrobe, they continuously delay my parcels by poor effort to look for them. They also never reply to emails nor pick up phone calls. I am frustrated and have major exams to focus for but I would not recommend this accommodation.
The rooms were not ready when we tried to move in (September 2019) and we went home for one week. When we came back room had not changed at all. Door lock, cabinets, shower, etc, not fitted properly. The whole building was filthy. Took most of a day to clean before could put our belongings in. At end of December not much better with so much work still to be completed. Management not interested and do not reply to enquiries or requests. Wish we had gone somewhere else as not a good first year at uni.
Many issues on arrival, poorly dealt with. During the pandemic, I followed government advice and returned to my permanent home, but still have to pay for third term. Very cheaply constructed with no bedside cabinet or drawers in the room, only a wardrobe and bed. Very disappointing, not exactly 'luxury' as stated on the website.
During the pandemic, they were aweful.
Having been strongly advised by the University and the Government, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to return to their parental home where possible I collected my son from Radford Mill. Having totally cleared his room and returned the key we approached Severns Rental to ask if the rent could be waived; this was flatly refused! Bearing in mind that when students arrive in September 2019 most of the accommodation was unfinished and building work still being completed, it was a mess! The car parking, laundry room and bike store were not available until January 2020 and there was no compensation for this either. The communal bathrooms have never been cleaned and are constantly in a filthy state. So the management company are completely ruthless, have little or no regard for their residents! And when we are 'all in this together' take advantage of students by profiteering. Shame on Severns and Radford Mill.
Rooms not finished on time and still so much to do be completed even up to Xmas 2019. Dust everywhere and building works still going on. Management do not answer emails and are impossible to contact. Not recommended in any area.
No laundry facilities at all the whole of the first semester, slow replies with spelling errors in every email, incomplete rooms with builders and dust everywhere, doors have no key card locks installed yet, games room is not built either, car park is not opened.
We are told to use the laundrette across the road (costs 7 pounds for a wash and dry), facilities are incomplete, everywhere is very dusty, rooms are not fully complete too, this is false advertising and nobody is helpful (extremely long bland email replies)
