Well when I first moved in it was owned by a different company (they were terrible) however the accommodation itself was great. Who needs good staff when you have ace students to socialise with?! Anyway I stayed for my second year with the new management 'student housing company' which in some areas are sort of annoying but in most aspects have improved the site. As for the flats and rooms it's all down to luck. I've had the mid priced rooms both years and they've been plenty big enough (also bigger than other accommodations) they do have pretty orange lights though. Obviously for you that likes to have massive rooms then the high their options are worth the money (usually one massive bedroom per flat) with regards to size of communal areas it depends which block your in. People think A block being the tallest is the biggest and best, No. The kitchen in abkock are like quarter circles, tiny. E block (my first year flat e8) was one massive rectangle with too much space. This year? I'm in B block, the left side if the building (right side is ridiculously tiny, I mean it's shit) but if your lucky like me the kitchens are the biggest I've seen, also come with twice as many windows and a view if the water. So yeah if you choose accommodation I'd go with hayes or that fancy new one they're building. Or just look into renting a house and save some mad DOLLA $$$
