Study in Bournemouth

Bournemouth offers an enriching educational environment with two world-class institutions: Bournemouth University and the Arts University Bournemouth. It is also a hub for international language schools, inviting a global student body to partake in a wide range of language courses, from intensive to flexible schedules.

As of 2023, the Bournemouth University (BU) community comprises approximately 19,000 students, with around 2,600 international students from over 120 countries. The university is well-regarded for its professionally oriented programmes, particularly in the media sector.

BU's infrastructure is spread across two main campuses: Talbot and Lansdowne.

Talbot Campus

Located at Fern Barrow, on the Poole side of the boundary, the Talbot Campus is the university's nucleus. It hosts the primary academic buildings, including the central library and the students' union.

Lansdowne Campus

The Lansdowne Campus features key teaching and administrative facilities just outside Bournemouth town centre. Additionally, the campus includes a students' union nightclub and a variety of student residence halls situated along Christchurch Road, Oxford Road, and Holdenhurst Road. The Lansdowne Campus is also witnessing the construction of the new Bournemouth University International College.
