This accommodation has the worst staff. The locks go out of date constantly and so we are often locked outside our rooms. There is no security on Sundays and they close at 6 o clock on any other day. One time I was locked outside my room called them 4 times and no one came until two hours later saying they did not get any call

Okay but there are better accommodations

Rooms are okay, all 3/4 beds with nice bathroom. Living room and kitchen are also fine, however there's no TV in the living room (other accommodations have it). There's a gym which is shitty. The accommodation tries to organise some events for students. Central Quay is the furthest accommodation and the only close thing around is pricey tesco. It costs about £6 for taxi to get to main clubs in town. There have been a number of burgaries in here and staff doesn't do much about anything. I've sent a maintenance request to them couple of days ago and they were meant to sort it by today but they didn't. When I called them the staff member said it'll be tomorrow and she hang out - that's no respect for students especially that this accommodation costs a fortune. Overall I'd recommend Victoria Halls. Forge, Archways, The Anvil, Pinnacles - almost every other accommodation is better value for money than this one

Good but could be better

Rooms are good size. love the amount of desk space and storage. Only draw back to the room is the lack of plugs near the bed or wall.

They do put on events etc for us to participate in and there is pool and table tennis to do.

Location: definitely the furthest out of city campus

Safety: good ish safety. prefer the key fob at the forge compared to the key card though. CCTV everywhere although they dont use it. (I lost my watch after a night out in the reception and they refused to look at CCTV to see if anyone had picked it up)

Management: the CCTV use pissed me off quite abit and the fact that parking is sooooooo expensive. there are so many spaces left over underneath they should really consider reducing the cost as there is free parking at the leadmill. They also took 8 months to deliver our post box keys. how difficult is it to go get some cut or even buy a new lock??? i could do it in 30mins by walking to the key cutting place on castle square.

Value: good value overall to be fair
