I am currently staying there/have stayed there for the past 4 months. Rooms I would say are big, heating etc is new. Friendly staff - maintenance issues are fixed ASAP. Good location - bus stops, tube, boots, tesco etc are near. BUT, the pros about stops here. Should you unluckily get a flatmate from hell - smokes illegal drug (yes, the smell can get into the room), partying, shouting, arguing, lots of banging, loud music (Walls are thin) - You are out of luck, unless you're the same type. Yes, it is a studio, and I once thought having such problems are very unlikely. TRUST ME, I REGRETTED IT!!!! Management does almost nothing to remedy the problem - as in no results seen of these people stopping after TONS OF COMPLAINTS to the management. Now, picture these problems for the whole of your contract there or even during exams AND you need to study/do your assignments. You are probably better off living in other student halls that are in better locations/safer parts of london (e.g. London bridge or waterloo), cheaper, has better amenities (e.g. gym). I have to say heating frequently breaks down in this hall as well - if you don't mind someone constantly entering your room or constantly telling them. Perhaps halls such as Urbanest westminster, iris brook house or paris gardens. Hope this helped!

I pay £250 a week to be here, and expect to be able to cook on the two rings we are provided with. However, electricity is not enough, so 95%, when I am cooking on just one ring, the electricity switches off. This is a huge nuisance and considering this place costs £250, I feel short changed. You usually have to switch off all lights in order to get enough supply, but even that often does not work. What is worse is that, if you try to cook using two rings, the fire alarm is likely to go off. This is because the fan will switch off when the electricity blows. Then you have steam from two rings setting off the alarm. Having that noise scream at you is not fun. The fire alarm goes off if you try to boil a kettle or use a toaster, so you have to use a fan if you try one of those things. The ordinary staff are kind, polite, professional and patient. I think they are probably over-worked. But the decision makers are only interested in bottom line profit, not the customer. Honestly, I have never before lived in such a tightfisted place.

I'm really happy with this place, or else I would not have stayed on for my 4th and last year at uni. It's fresh, fantastic location and there's nothing really that I can complain about. The things mentioned by other reviewers is all true
