Feedback Magenta Iโve been living in IQ Magenta House for 1 year and my overall experience wasnโt great. The location is amazing and very convenient to get to any part of the city, and the room contains everything you need. However, I was extremely unlucky with my neighbors and administrative staff didnโt want to solve any problems they caused. Eventually, during this year I was flooded, I had my room full of fume because of my flatmate who wasnโt careful enough with her cooking, and last 2 months I was suffering from ants all over my room because new flatmates didnโt clean after themselves at all! I made multiple complaints but was just promised that they would speak with my flatmates and encourage them to be more tidy, respectful etc but nothing changed! I paid a huge amount of money but didnโt get any support and was suffering from dirtiness in the shared kitchen all over the year. I wouldnโt recommend this place to stay because of the attitude of the administration who didnโt care at all.

The accomadation is lovely and modern and the staff are so friendly and helpful, willing to go the extra mile! The friendly staff are the reason I moved accomadation from another private halls in the area. I felt so welcomed and the homelike atmosphere the staff create is wonderful. A lot of private student accommodation in the area have some form of gym, so that would be a possible future surggestion, or perhaps a partnership with a local gym for a discount of some sort? Could not fault magenta house! Absolutely wonderful place!
Magenta House is a lovely place to stay. For a zone 1 location the rooms are quite spacious and well furnished. Management are fantastic and deal with all your queries and problems quickly. Tesco express is a 2 minute walk away and it's also well served by bus and tube (5minute walk).
- staff are all great and really friendly - plenty of shops nearby (2 Tescos minutes away and Sainsburys down the road) - around the corner from Brick Lane - TV in kitchen is a nice feauture - lots of fridge/freezer room and cupboard room per person compared to other student accommodation - rooms are fairly small but do have an ensuite - actual accommodation feels safe (surrounding area may be considered slightly more dodgy but nothing has ever happened to me and even as a girl I'm fine walking around during the night). - events in the common room - all post is kept for you - have to take out your own bins/no cleaner - expensive - relatively close to central London
