En-suites, twin rooms and studios next to Valentines Park in Gants Hill
ARK Valentine London student accommodation, formerly known as The Valentine, has 333 rooms in Gants Hill, East London. The building sits right next to Valentines Park. In addition, it is a short walk from Gants Hill Underground station on the Central Line.
Room options are wide. For example, there are en-suite rooms in shared flats of four to eight bedrooms, twin rooms, a two-bedroom studio and self-contained studios across several tiers. En-suite and twin rooms share a kitchen, while studios are fully self-contained.
All rooms come fully furnished. Utility bills and superfast Wi-Fi are also included in the rent.
A creative room, gym and park on the doorstep
The building has a creative room for photography, fashion, textiles and crafting. As a result, it suits students who want space to make and design outside of campus. There is also an on-site gym and quiet study spaces.
Valentines Park is right next door, with a lake, green space and room for morning runs. Meanwhile, Ilford town centre is close by for shops and supermarkets. Stratford and Westfield Stratford City are also reachable by tube.
A property management team is on hand to help residents. In addition, CCTV covers the building around the clock.
Is ARK Valentine right for you?
It suits students who are happy to commute by tube in exchange for a quieter, greener base. The Central Line links Gants Hill with Stratford and central London. The University of East London and Queen Mary University of London are the closest universities, so check the Nearby Universities panel for travel times.
However, if you want to walk to campus, a more central building may suit you better. In that case, compare other options on our London student accommodation page.
