Overall Gradpad was well managed, safe and convenient. The location is ideal as it is adjacent to Clapham Junction train station and buses also serve the area well. The atmosphere is good as it provides you with your on private space as well as the chance to socialise down in the communal room. Unfortunately my room overlooked the communal garden area, which proved to be exceedingly noisy into the wee small hours. Although Iโm certainly not against anyone enjoying themselves, I felt that this couldโve been managed better.
good location. rooms are good value
A great place for student
I have been living in Griffion Studios for 6 months and it is definitely something I recommend for students. The atmosphere is very nice and the rent is not expensive as compared to other private accommodations.

I have been living here for 8 months. When I booked my studio my main concern was the location because I didn't know how far I was going to be from Imperial or central london. Now I can say that it is great. You feel like you are in central London, since you are 10 mins away from Waterloo and 10 mins away from Victoria by train (Clapham Junction Station is 30 seconds away from the entrance of the residence). In addition, the surroundings of Clapham Junction are full of pubs, supermarkets, restaurants... Imperial College is 25 minutes away by bus. The social life here is great. The common room is the main location for meeting people. There is a TV, ping pong table... always something to do. In addition, during the year events are organised (Halloween, Movie nights, Maskarade parties...) which makes very easy to meet new people. The rest of the buildings are very calm which allows you to focus on studies. I am very happy with the staff, always ready to help and the only time I had a problem in my room (the desktop light broke, they came in less than 2 days to repair it). In addition, they are ready to listen to suggestions and to talk about your concerns. Griffon Studios is not cheap, but because London is not cheap. Note that some prices in London only include the room. Here everything is included, so once you pay, you don't have to worry about Internet or heating. By the way, you can use Wifi or Cable! (Until now, no internet connection problems!) As a summary, Griffon Studios is an incredible place to live and succeed in your studies, difficult to find something better. I would say that it is like living in a luxurious hotel for students. Incredibly comfortable, great location, great atmosphere great people. That's why I decided to continue living here the next year!
Very good. Excellent facilities and transport links. Kept very clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Would highly recommend for any postgraduate students looking for accommodation, especially if you are new to London.
Griffon studios are located near the Clapham Junction train station and there are many bus stops nearby (5 min on foot). Also, there are many super markets, department stores, bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. The Post Office is very close and the Police Department as well. As for the rooms are very convinience and i f you want to have some fun there is the Common Room to pass your free time with the other students-residents. It was of high importance for me, when I chose the Griffon Studios to stay, the 24 hr reception and the security that they provide. All the staff are polite and helpful. So, I recommend them to everyone who want to ensure a safe stay in London.

Great apartments, very friendly staff, good living quality
I've lived at Griffon Studios for a year and a half and am quite sad to be leaving. The location is incredibly convenient with excellent transit access (SouthWest, Southern and the Overground; as well as buses). The rooms are self contained and include a kitchenette and bathroom. The lack of a 'normal' oven can be a bit of a challenge but is entirely manageable. The rooms are well lit and well laid out to maximise the use of space. As everyone is a graduate student, the environment is quite quiet/peaceful; though by no means unfriendly. As well, the staff at Griffon are very friendly and quite helpful. While the rent is high, this is London and it is a great place to live.
Safe and clean studios, at a great location. There is a 24 hours reception and management is great. A lot of things to do in the area, while you are very close to central London. I would definitely recommend.
The atmosphere in the room is very cosy and warm. The furnitures are new. For a studio in London it is not so expensive. One of the best point is that you won't have any problem you could have when renting a regular studio (landlord who is not flexible, machines which don't work, etc.), as everything is managed by the team, so no additional payments, and they try to sort everything out quickly. Definitively recommend this place
It is really convenient to live here since there are lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. But it takes almost 1 hour to imperial at peak time by bus. you need to get up very early if you have a class in 9 or 10 am.

Griffon Studios is located in a very well-connected area of London and it is easy to get to anywhere in central London and to the main Universities either by bus or train. Its location, close to many big supermarkets (e.g. ASDA, Lidl, Waitrose, M&S), makes it a very convenient choice for students. There are also many restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood as well as parks (Clapham Common and Battersea Park) where to go for a walk or running. The premium studio is well-equipped and has a good size for London standards compared to other properties with a similar price. Having a (large) private bathroom and don't having to share a kitchen made a difference for us. The only inconvenience as a couple is the size of the fridge as it is small (located underneath the worktop). On the other hand, the two-door wardrobe is well suited for a couple. The maintenance and reception team are excellent: they are very kind and try to sort out any problem very soon. It certainly makes a difference in these type of accommodation. With regards to the internet connection it is quite good and it has been upgraded with respect to previous years. There are five main common areas: laundry with washing machines and dryers, courtyard with some benches, tables and a BBQ, living room area with TV and ping-pong table, a small -but well equipped - gym and a bike storage room in the basement. These areas are great as they allow you to meet new people and make new friends, especially at the parties organised by the resident assistants. We definitely recommend this property to new students!
I have been living with Griffon for six years since I started my postgraduate study at Imperial. People in the Griffon team are very kind, caring. They are always there if the tenant's ever in trouble. Just talk to the receptionist with any issue, they will solve the problems or guide you to the person you should meet. I am going to highlight Griffon's merits in points: 1. Security is highly guaranteed. Anybody wants to enter his/her own studio needs to have the access to three doors (with one key card). Receptionists are strict with any non-tenants. 2. Receptionists help with your deliveries so that you do not need to wait for your deliveries during the daytime. 3. There is a facility team in Griffon. If you find any malfunction in your studio, all you have to do is talk to the receptionist and leave it. You will be amazed by their repair speed. Usually done in one or two days. 4. The studio layout is good. You have every furniture and appliances you need and plenty of space. And it is easy to keep it clean. 5. If your friends and family come to visit you, they give the permission to have them stay with you for up to 25 days in 51 weeks. 6. The common room, yard, gym are open for all. Griffon often organises parties to let you make friends with your roomies. It is also suitable for any self-organised activities, like BBQs. 7. There is a high street near Griffon. Restaurants, supermarkets (all you can name) are here. 8. The transport is super easy. Clapham Junction is the Britain's busiest railway station. You can walk to the famous Battersea Park, Thame river within 20 mins. Go to downtown takes less than 10min if you travel with TFL. I cannot express my satisfaction with Griffon only using plain texts. Otherwise, I would not have stayed here for so long.
Griffon Studios is unique because it only accepts postgraduate students. The residents are mostly studying Master or Doctorate Candidates, thus it's very calm and mature, no crazy party or overly loud music at night. That is not to say the place isn't exciting as there are always holiday events, movie night, drinks etc, organised by staff and long term residents. In term of economical value, It probably beats other competitors. While the interior of the rooms isn't exactly as avant-garde as the other recently built student accommodation (Griffon was occupied for about 5 years), the room condition and maintaining quality deserve praises, they have an on-site maintaining team who are ready to pop by your room anytime if there is a problem. Facilities are quite well-equipped, they have Gym, communal laundry rooms, garden, BBQ tables, common rooms, ping-pong table. I like the fact that they are somehow arranged to make you feel quite cozy. In term of safety, It's probably within the safest area of Clapham, right opposite the station and next to a GP practice. There are receptionist 24/7 with strict safety protocols in place. While Clapham Junction isn't exactly the most central part of London, it's one the central hub for transport. Waterloo is 12 minute away by train, Westfield Shepherd Bush is 18 minute away by Overground and Victoria is just 10 minute by Southern train service. Buses are around, you can get access to Liverpool Street, High Street Kensington and Battersea. The Management is doing a generally good job, they are responsive and attentive most of the time. Overall I would recommend Griffon Studios to people I know who are going to study in London
My half year stay with Griffon was extremely comfortable with support from stuff just seconds away, always available to respond to any query or need - or just engage in random-friendly chat. The studio consists of all utilities needed when on constant move and it is extremely convenient for mature students who need a balanced study-work-fun life. The additional facilities at Griffon such as the gym and common room with all it's perks are excellent with round the clock access.
Nice and safe Room in London with convenience transport.
Location is excellent with all the amenities available. The train station being only 1 min away is pure bonus, I never feel unsafe walking home at night. The 24 hr reception is helpful and the security is reassuring. Laundry room could be improved with better functioning machines I personally feel rental is expensive, but so is London Good place to live overall
Griffon Studios is opposite Clapham Junction train station, and several bus stops with direct routes to several centrally-located universities including Imperial College London, King's College London, UCL and LSE. There are several bars, nightclubs, restaurants and department stores along the main high street which is a short 5 minute walk away. The rooms are en-suite and include a kitchenette which is great for privacy. Additionally, there is a large common room with various games, a ping pong table, a large television and tables for studying/revision/parties. There is also a 24-hour reception service and a good level of security.
Griffon studios are located near the train station (Clapham Junction) and a number of shops and restaurants. It is really convenient to reach any place within London from the residence as bus stops and the overground are just a few minutes away. The atmosphere in the halls is quite nice; each person has its own privacy at his/her room but they can also enjoy some time at the common room playing games, studying or relaxing whilst watching a movie. The residence also frequently organizes parties creating a nice sense of community. It is also great that there is always someone at the reception for both safety and other more practical aspects.

It is not good. It did not return the deposit on time, you need to call them many times.
