Very good place to live
There are many maintenance issues that take a while to correct. Sometimes they aren't fixed at all no matter how much you complain. Builders coming in and out of your room as well. The building is located directly next to train tracks, so you will hear the trains all day and night -- even with closed windows. Another issue is their wi-fi which isn't very fast and often goes out. When the wi-fi stops working, the staff are unable to offer any advice as to when it will come back on which takes hours and sometimes days. Staff is horrendous and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and check out some other accommodations because there are so many to choose from in central London. I deeply regret that I didn't look at others. This place is way too overpriced and they don't have the goods or service to back it up. You deserve to enjoy London and school and not be in uncomfortable and distracting housing.
Spring Mews is an amazing place for students based in London. Friendly and helpful staff. Unbeatable location. Cosy environment. CCTV 7/24 for safety. Would recommend to friends.
The staff are friendly, I love my flatmates and despite a few maintenance issues most things run smoothly! The building has a pool and gym which has been amazing. Location is perfect, would definitely recommend Spring Mews.
The staff are really friendly. I like the good location in Vauxhall.

good transport connection, modern room, live here second year and happy, a bit cold inside the rooms
The rooms are spacious and have an amazing view .The staff is really kind and helpful. I would recommend spring mews to every student who wants to enjoy living in central London for an affordable price.

Its very centrally located which is great and the staff are helpful, friendly and kind. Theres a fun atmosphere, and the rooms are great, big and full of all the necessities. OVERALL ITS JUST AMAZING!!

I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for student accommodation in South London. It has a great atmosphere with friendly management, staff and students. The room space is one of the largest and most modern I have seen in private student accommodation when looking at other private companies. With this, and the location (few minute walk from Vauxhall st) it is definitely worth the money and a full year's contract. I dont want to leave. I have friends who have lived here for the whole three year length of their degrees and feel the same. Definitely worth coming to check out-especially in the evening with socials, events and general drinking.
The rooms and amenities are good for central london. Nothing is outstanding, except for the staff which are all kind and courteous, and nothing is bad, other than the design of my room's lighting (there is barely enough lighting for the bed area, the desk area is pitch black, needed to buy my own lighting, kitchen and bathroom are fine) and the inability to control the room's temperature (had to buy my own space heater),
Overall, it is a lovely place to live, specially if you are new to the UK. The staff is amazing, and Erica at the reception makes the place a lot more familiar and warm. The security at night is also very esteemed, Ismael is the kindest person ever, and he will do everything we can to make sure all is in order and he always has an easy smile upon his face. The maintenance is a problem, because most of the things you cannot fix yourself, and you need to call maintenance for everything, and whenever you book a time slot for them to come, that goes completely disregarded, and they show up at any time of the day - say you book a slot for the afternoon because you had to stay up at night working, and then they can show up on the morning. It is quite unsettling. The fire alarm is always going off at the most random times, albeit having a fire alarm testing every Wednesday at 1pm. This does not always happen, and then the alarm can go off at times such as 1am, as it has happened, and most of the times it is because someone did not respect the security conduit of the building. If you are thinking that this is a great place to rest, I would certain think again. The kitchens are seriously awesome, they are very high spec and super easy to clean, tons of storage space and the TV make it super cosy. The downside of it is that you have to keep it spotless on the inspection days, and if you live with people that do not really enjoy keeping everything as clean as you, that can be a problem, and you will be charged for a cleaning, even if you had nothing to do with it. The rooms are cool and they have everything you basically need - the shower is pretty much heaven-sent - and once more, they have lots of storage space, like beneath the bed, for instance. One of the things that is a minus on the rooms is the wardrobe, as it is very small and does not allow much space and flexibility to keep your stuff, so you need to be smart about the way you organise everything. Another problem is the temperature of the rooms, because 1. you need to call maintenance to turn it on; 2. it does not change if you want it hotter or colder; 3. you will most certainly freeze when London gets super cold because you cannot turn it up in any other way, even if you call maintenance. The place is not great at being soundproofed, you can hear anything from the outside and also from the inside. I can hear when my flatmates close the blinds. They will tell you to "shut the window" as if that would solve any problem. There is an indoor pool, which most of the time is not open because it has broken down over whatever reason and it takes quite a while to fix (say, circa 3 month). The gym is open 24h, so that is one of the good things of this place. The lounge is always loud and very uncomfortable, as you come in at any time of the day and there is people screaming, loud music, lots of disturbance, that you can even hear if you are up in your room trying to study or simply sleep. Unfortunately, the cinema room is closed, you do not have an opportunity to enjoy it, as they publicise it on the website, due to an expansion that is happening. All in all, I would not say this is the best place to live in London, but the location is quite unparalleled, although you do have some problems with the rooms and the common spaces and there is simply no way for you to avoid all the construction work undergoing all over the place, unless you move in in the next 20 years or so.
Don't move in here. Please do not. I read all the reviews and thought my experiance would be different but it has been exactly as described by every other review on here. Maintenance issues are never resolved swiftly. Hefty fines for cleaning if your kitchen is not tidy every two weeks even if the mess is caused by other flat mates the whole flat is still charged. swimming pool is constantly breaking down and closed. And has only been open for a month since I have moved in five months ago. cinema room is no longer available because of the construction going on which causes noise and a horrible view from your window. This was never mentioned so all the benefits they claim when moving in such as having 24 hour staff (who never fix anything) a swimming pool ( which is always closed) and a cinema room (which doesn't exist) are useless yet we still have to pay full price. I have complained along with many others but nothing is resolved and we ultimately have lost out. If feels as thought students are being taken advantage of. This place is way over priced and all the benefits they sell you when moving in are really not worth it or even available most of the time. I am taking this as a major life lesson and will always be careful in the future when renting a property. Please please do yourself a favour, fellow student if you are reading this or any other review on here, trust it and do not move in, you can find somewhere so much better. Spend your money wisely.
I am writing this review to make people aware of the living conditions in Spring Mews. At a first glance, the building is beautiful, modern and has lots of communal spaces and a swimming pool. It sounded amazing to me so I booked it although I knew that it was going to be really, really expensive. After living here for 4 months now, I can say, it's not worth the money. 1. The big advertised swimming pool is closed 80% of the times without prior notice. It was first closed for 3 months for maintenance and now since it's officially reopened, it is still locked most of the time. 2. Maintenance issues are not getting fixed. In our kitchen, part of the panel fell down and even logging the maintenance issue 3 times, nothing has happened. 3. The room temperature is not adjustable (they tell you it is but in reality there is no change in temperature) and it is really cold in the winter. 4. The Cinema room is closed since I moved in and the worst is, there is a lot of construction work going on to expand Spring Mews directly in front of my window where of course nobody told me about when I asked what rooms would be a good choice. I am lucky with my flatmates and the staff are really friendly here but this place is only about money in terms of taking it from you but not to properly maintain the building.
