I totally enjoyed my time here. Homely, nice, cozy. It is everything you want and need as student. Shops, bus stop, Underground station all nearby. You would love it and get the value for money.
Had been living in GradPad for 3 years. I strongly recommend it. Felt very safe and well there. Everything is perfect except one only minor point: the noise of the door when neighbours slam their doors. A part from that it was excellent living there.

The room is small but perfect! There are so many spaces for clothes and stuff. The security is great as rhere are security doors everywhere and all the time someone is at the reception to help you. There is a plus for the 24/7 reception to receive post and parcels whenever you need. There are many events to spend time with other students. Almost everyone is kind and fun. On the other habd, sometimes the management is too strict. They are following the rules so perfectly that sometimes is annoying. I would prefer more freedom, to be honest. Also it is a bit far from central London.
Rooms are very well equipped. Staff are always on hand to answer any queries. I would recommend this accommodation for anyone who will be based at the Hammersmith Campus.
Overall really good, only inprovements could be done in terms of plumbing for water pressure as well as fans in the rooms for summer. Fantastic and very friendly security team.

WoodLane Studios provide really nice accommodation for students in London. Rooms have everything you need and are well equipped. Staff is very helpful and communal areas are great.The studios are well located too (considering Imperial new White City campus). I would definitely recommend, it is great value for the price.
Wood Lane is a great place to live and study. I have been here two years studying a PhD and I highly recommend it. While it is relatively expensive the cost is well worth what you receive in return (private room, 24hr security, gym etc.). The rooms are very clean and well kept. There's maintenance on hand if anything goes wrong or needs fixing and they are very friendly. It's usually pretty quiet (unless there is a Wood Lane run party on). The staff and security are great people who are really inclusive and friendly. They are always willing to help out and 24 hour security makes you feel safe. It's a good place to live.
Woodlane studios have provided me with more than just accommodation. I met many great friends, and enjoyed many events to connect with people from all over teh world. The receptionist are extremely helpful and friendly, and I was able to befriend all of them. I highly recommend Woodlane for anyone looking to enrich their london educational experience!
The accoms is really modern and clean. The nearest station is White city, the central line that makes it really convenient to get around London and not forgetting Westfield, a huge mall nearby with Waitrose! Tesco express and Nisa local is nearby as well!
Wood Lane Studios offers a great london student accommodation experience, with very good rooms and great facilities within the building. The staff was very welcoming and helpful theoughout my entire stay. I would definately recommend Gradpad for any students studying in London.

Great, comfortable and brand new rooms. It is also good to have your own bathroom and full-equipped kitchen. In addition, common areas are so comfortable too. Also, great atmosphere for PG or PhD students.

One of the main issue that should be solve immediately to make GradPad more comfortable and more affordable place is to change some roles, in particular those related to the management of deposit and leaving. Speaking with other people and representatives, one of the main problem is the possibility to find a replacement if you want to leave during the year. It's absolutely not understandable that people who are replacing a current tenant should pay all the remaining rent up front; this makes difficult to leave from GradPad if you have to do; GradPad should give the possibility to people who are replacing an old tenant, if they have an English based guarantor or if they are receiving an income, to make a 3-months payment. This would be absolutely appreciated by many residents. To my opinion, this is one of the main problem and concerns to sign a one year tenancy agreement. There is no reason why new potential tenant have to pay the remaining rent in one payment. This is possible if the payment interests few weeks, but not for example 30 weeks.....
This private accommodation for students is a great choice in terms of facilities, safety, and helpfulness of the staff. The building is kept very clean and in great condition, there is always somebody to help at the reception area, and there are many nice common areas, including a gym. The rooms are typical of student halls but very modern. I had no issues whatsoever with my stay there and the staff made me feel very welcome and were always friendly. They try to accommodate students' requests/complaints and if there is an issue, they do take action. Regarding location, Hammersmith campus students would benefit more than the other campuses, but there is a free bus service that runs every day to and from the campuses. There are also bus/tube options nearby. All in all, I would highly recommend this residence to postgraduate students.
The Accommodation is perfect for student that are studying in London for the following reason: 1 - Location: There is a bus stop right next to the entrance, and central line, circle are 5 mins was, Westfielled is 7 min walk, shop and a restaurant in front of the property, Hammersmith hospital ( imperial center ) is walking distance, and with the imperial west, more business is coming to the area within few months. 2- Building is secure, staff are very helpful and friendly ( Professional) , Maintenence is at high standard They arrange a gathering and parties for each season. 3 - The quality of room itself is very good comparing to flats and halls in London, even tho the size is a little bit small but the designing of the units is smart and accommodate everything you need. 4 - Value of the price is good considering location and condition of the place. I stayed here this year and I am going to extend my contract for another year.
If you will be studying at imperial medical faculty, this accommodation will be the best option for you in the white city area. Not only is slightly cheaper than contemporaries around the area but, also is very close to the Hammersmith and city campus. The facilities, staff and rooms are great.
Great rooms in a very well-connected and safe area just a stone's throw away from the mall! 24 Hour staff and a lovely new building have made my two years at Wood Lane Studios great! I especially recommend this accommodation for international students who are here for a 1 year Master's degree since you'll have no stress of dealing with estate agencies and private landlords. Whenever I had a problem (e.g. blown bulb, leaky tap) it was always fixed very quickly. The staff are very friendly and you do get personalized service which makes you feel very welcome and appreciated.
Wood Lane Studios is definitely a great place for students to live at. It has a lot to offer and fills the varied needs of the diverse student population. The staff (both reception and sales team) are extremely approachable and make it fun to live here. There are facilities here, such as the quiet study rooms and gym, that really make the Studios an all-in-one package. Most of all, the rooms are great and it is comfortable living here.
